Rules and regulations of www.strima.com

These Regulations define the general rules for using the online shop avaliable at www.strima.com domain, maintained by „Strima” sp. z o.o. in Swadzim, ul. Poznańska 54, 62 – 080, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs by under KRS number by VIII Regional Court – Nowe Miasto i Wilda in Poznan, under no. KRS: 0000064216, NIP: 7810000099, REGON: 004866251, the share capital of: 1 347 360 zł.

How to order

At Strima.com you can purchase both after prior registration (and logging in) and anonymously.

Logging in guarantees:

  • • control pending orders
  • • control your obligations to our company

Please treat your login information as confidential and do not show to any third persons. An order placed by anyone else using your e-mail and password will be shipped to the address given in the registration form, at the charge of a registered user.
Online orders from outside European Union will be treated as a request for offer - they do not obligate to purchase. After calculation of total transportation costs we will present the final offer.

Other payment methods (e.g. transfer after delivery) available after previous agreement (concerns only those customers having cooperated with us at least for 1 year).

ePrzelewy (eTransfers) are implemented in a way that the customer who purchase in the online shop chose online payment as a payment method, and is redirected to the transactional service of the bank. After login customer receives a transfer form with the appropriate amount, transfer title and data recipient, all ready to accept. After accepting the transfer, the customer returns to the online shop.
Online payments are support by eCard S.A. company.

In case of large value orders we reserve the right to change the payment method. When importing any special machines or devices, you may be informed about the necessity of paying in advance. If we change the payment method, you have the right to resign from your order, without giving any explanation.

We realize electronic payments through the leading operator in Poland - eCard. The Customer's data are sent directly to the operator, without the seller's interference. It guarantees better security, than by traditional terminal card payment.

Orders realization

Customers from Poland

  • Orders placed before 2 PM (14:00 GMT+1) working day, will be shipped the same day. In case the ordered product has run out - we will ship it after refilling our stock (you won't have to wait for the available products - such will be shipped immediately).

    Delivery in Poland are realized by Post or different forwarder depending on dimensions and kind of shipping.

    Te cost of delivery to any place in Poland includes insurance and collection costs

    For every shipment of up to 1000 PLN net, transportation costs will be added. Shipment costs are automatically invoiced as a separate position and therefore invoice gross value equals the value of pay on delivery.

    You make the choice of delivery type (by choosing an appropriate option) when finalising shopping. There's also a possibility of direct reception.

    We do not charge any additional fees - you pay only for the goods and their transport. In case you unjustified don't pick up shipped products - they will go back to Strima Sp. z o.o. and you will be charged for the shipment.

    Approximate delivery time is no more than 3 days from the date of the contract, with the exception of products not available in the warehouse in which case the delivery time may be longer, about which we will inform you via email. Order for goods having a different execution time will be taken upon your permission for dividing the order will be granted. Deadline for receiving the goods is the time of order completion plus delivery time.

Customers from the European Union (except Poland)

  • Orders placed and paid will be dispatched within 1 working day. In case the ordered product has run out - we will ship it after refilling our stock (you won't have to wait for the available products - such will be shipped immediately).

    For all orders from EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, all we need is a confirmed EU VAT/turnover tax identification number. You'll get an invoice with 0% VAT value.

    Private customers
    Private customers will get our products directly to home address (in such case, the assortment has an added VAT value according to the Polish rate, 23%).
    Our offer is ex-works, Swadzim/Poznan Poland. When finalising order, customer chooses delivery type.

    Deliveries in the European Union are fulfilled by various forwarders (including Dachser, DHL, FedEx, GLS, Kuehne + Nagel, Raben) depending on kind and dimensions of the parcel.

    Delivery costs in the European Union (except Poland) includes insurance

    • • up to 10% of the net order value for orders over 300 EUR net
    • orders over 3000 EUR net value (or the equivalent in USD) will be delivered to any place in European Union free of charge (excluding Auctions)*

    We do not charge any additional fees - you pay only for the goods and their transport. In case you unjustified don't pick up shipped products - they will go back to Strima Sp. z o.o. and you will be charged for the shipment.

    * Due to the nature of the ordered goods, e.g. spray products, unusual/non-standard dimensions of the shipment (cutters rails) and due to the specific delivery address, where logistics are difficult (island, distant destination), we reserve the right to change the shipment conditions from CPT/ DAP on EXW terms European warehouse. In each such case, STRIMA will inform the Customer about such a situation and possible other delivery options.

Customers out of the European Union

  • All ordered and available products will be shipped after customs clearance. In case the ordered product has run out - we will ship it after refilling our stock (you won't have to wait for the available products - such will be shipped immediately). Of course you may wish to suspend shipment until we have all the products you ordered.

    Our offer is ex-works, Swadzim/Poznan Poland. When finalising order, the Customer chooses delivery type.

    If you let us organize the transport, you will be informed about its costs every time before shipment. If you do not accept them you will have the possibility to resign from the order. However, we always choose the customer's optimum.

    We do not charge you with any additional fees - you pay only for the goods and their transport. The Customers outside the European Union are asked to order reasonably, because costs of the formalities and clearance fees may make product's return imposssible or economically unfounded.

Free delivery

Orders over 1000 PLN net value will be delivered to any place in Poland free of charge.
Orders over 3000 EUR net value (or the equivalent in USD) will be delivered to any place in European Union free of charge. You can make the choice of delivery type by choosing an appropriate option when finalising your online shopping. There's also a possibility of direct reception.You can get the detailed information about delivery, in the section: Orders realization

Shipping Details: FREE DELIVERY WORLDWIDE. Promotional delivery includes only selected products. Strima reserves the right to withdraw from free shipping of goods outside Poland without providing a reason.

Strima Partnership Program

General provisions

1.Participation in the Strima Partnership Program (hereinafter referred to as "the Program"), is tantamount to acceptance of these regulations. These provisions are subject to change.
2.The program is intended only for customers of www.strima.com e-shop. Only a Member named on the account will be entitled access to personal account information.
3.Accumulated StrimCoins of the Strima Partnership Program (hereinafter referred to as "the Points") do not constitute property of a Member and have no value outside of the Program. Granted Points may be withdrawn at any time, in accordance with these regulations. The Points can not be exchanged for cash.
4.Personal data of Program Participants are used in accordance with the privacy policy (see Security of personal data ).
5.Strima reserves the right to exclude any Member uses the Program in a manner inconsistent with these regulations. Exclusion from participation in the Program may result in the loss of all earned Points.
6.Strima reserves the right to modify or temporarily or permanently suspend the Program, for any reason, without prior notice to Members.

Membership in the Program

7.To become a Member of the Program simply create an Account on www.strima.com.

Earning of the Points

8.The Program allows to earn the Points for purchases on www.strima.com but not includes purchases with installment or leasing.
9.Each Member of the Program receives at the start 5000 Points as a bonus.
10.For every purchases on www.strima.com, a Member will earn the Points worth up to 8% of the net value of ordered goods. The Points earned in this way, can be used to pay for a next orders (in terms of membership status).
11.The Points are awarded to each Member individually. The Points for each completed online order will be credited to Member’s account within 14 days after the receipt of payment for the issued invoice / receipt.
In case of delayed payment for invoice with postponed payment, the Points will not be awarded. For purchases with discounts resulting from previously earned Points, Member does not receive new Points.
12.The Points for internet purchases will be calculated based on the rates applicable at the time of ordering. The billing currency for the Partnership Program is PLN. The value of 1 Point of the Strima Partnership Program ("StrimCoins") is: 0.015 PLN. For example, 5.000 StrimCoins = 75.00 PLN. The value of Points in currencies other than PLN may slightly change depending on the exchange rate differences of these currencies in relation to PLN.

Validity of the Points

13.In order to verify the actual number of the Points and their expiration date Member must log in to account on www.strima.com.
14.The Points accrued on the Member’s account will be maintained in the account until they are used or until they expire (whichever occurs first).
15.Points earned in one calendar year remain valid until December 31st of the next calendar year thereafter. Expiring Points in each calendar year must be used no later than December 31st. Expiring Points that are not used are void and deleted from Member’s account. The exception is the 5.000 points that are provided to Program Participants' during registration of the account.

Realization of the Points

16.To use Points, log into Member’s account while shopping at www.strima.com. When finalizing your purchase (cart), you will be given the option to use the Points collected. ATTENTION! In order to use Points, you must collect at least 10,000 points on your account - that is, to the 5,000 Points received for the start, you must collect at least 5,000 for purchases in the Strima store.
17.Members of the Program can use the Points to lower the value of the orders. The maximum value of the discount allows you to pay with Points up to 90% of the value of orders.
18.Membership status changes automatically to VIP when during the calendar year a Member earns 10.000 Points.
The status is granted once and is not subject to degradation.

Strima Outlet

These regulations define the rules for using the Strima Outlet, available at www.strima.com.

The provisions of the Regulations of Strima Outlet, relating to Consumers, should be applied accordingly to natural persons conducting business activity, when they purchase goods not related to their professional activity.

These Regulations provide for the Seller's liability for the conformity of the goods with the contract, in particular, they take into account the changes provided for by Polish law and EU directives from January 1, 2023.

Strima Outlet Regulations

1.At Strima Outlet, we offer products that are the end of production series, have been presented and tested at the exhibition or have been returned by customers.
2.All products offered in the Strima Outlet have been checked by the Strima service, are operational and ready for use.
We offer them at special prices and limited quantities.
3.Outlet products:
- are not packed in original cartons
- do not have a manual
- do not contain all factory-added accessories
- have signs of use
Ordering such a product by the Customer is tantamount to express acceptance of the lack of a specific feature of the goods.
4.All products from the Strima Outlet, purchased by the Consumer, are covered by the warranty, counted from the date of delivery of the goods.
5.Each product purchased by the Consumer in the Outlet may be returned within the statutory period of 14 days from the date of purchase. The refund will be made within 14 days from the date of return of the product. Outlet Products cannot be exchanged for others.
6.In the case of a sales contract concluded with a Customer who is not a Consumer, pursuant to art. 558 pairs 1 of the Civil Code, the liability of Strima Sp. z o. o. under the warranty for defects in the goods is excluded.
7.Outlet goods are not subject to reservation.
8.The number of products in the Outlet is limited and available only while stocks last.
9.The seller reserves the right to cancel the transaction without giving any reason.

Offers

Do you want to discuss with your co-workers purchase of new equipment or present to your boss needs of your department? Do you arrange a credit or leasing and bank or leasing company needs from you an offer for the products you want to invest in?

Offer for interesting products you can prepare by yourself. You do not even need to be a registered user.

You can prepare an offer for one or for a few products. Just add them to your cart and go to checkout (you don't have to buy anything). You'll see "Prepare an offer" button under the cart. You can log in - then the offer fills up with your or your company's data. Without logging in, you can simply fill in a special form with your data. After the form is filled in, press "Print your cart / Offer" button. Next you can print or save the created document.

Using "Leasing" and "Instalments 0%" buttons you can perform lease calculation or instalments simulation.

Price policy

Prices presented in www.strima.com e-shop are realized only for orders placed via this e-shop.

On the product cards net prices ex-works are shown but in the cart summary we complement price information of statutory VAT 23% (for customers from Poland and from European Union but only for those which do not have EU VAT number).
Export invoices and invoices for clients from EU countries, who have been authorized to carry out transactions between the EU countries (have valid VAT EU Number), are made out with 0% VAT.

In the case of transactions made by customers who are not consumers, we reserve the right to cancel transactions, in a situation where, for technical reasons, the price shown on the internet is wrong, and a customer would not accept the correct amount. Costs arising from this title will not charge customer.

The right of withdrawal

The Consumer Customer, or the Customer entitled to equivalent protection pursuant to Article 27 of the Consumer Rights Act, has the right to withdraw from the Agreement without giving any reasons within 14 days from the date of its collection or being collected by person specified by the User other than a carrier. When the agreement includes many things that are delivered separately, in lots or parts, the deadline to withdraw from the agreement will expire after 14 days from the date on which you acquire possession of the last of the thing from order or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquired the last part of the things (in the case of goods supplied separately), or after 14 days from the date on which you acquired the last lot or piece or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you came into possession of the last lot or piece (in the case of goods supplied in batches or in part).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (please write your name, full postal address and, if available, your telephone number, fax number and e-mail) its decision to withdraw from this Agreement by an unequivocal statement (for example, the letter sent by mail, fax or e-mail).

You can use the model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. To keep the term of withdrawal, it is enough to send information on exercising the right of withdrawal from the agreement before the deadline to withdraw from it.

Effects of withdrawal

In the event of contract cancellation, the Consumer Customer or a Customer who is entitled to equivalent protection pursuant to Article 27 of the Consumer Rights Act, receives a refund of all payments from the Seller, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until it has received the goods back, or the consumer will supplie evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal from the agreement concluded remotely does not apply in the below circumstances.

Regulations of Art. 27 from the Act of 30 May 2014 about consumer rights do not apply to statements between companies.
Orders of customers from outside the European Union, should be well thought out, because due to the formalities and customs duties, returning the item may not be possible and economically unjustified.

The contract cancellation form which the Consumer Customer or a Customer who is entitled to equivalent protection pursuant to Article 27 of the Consumer Rights Act can use, is also included in Annex 2 to the Act on Consumer Rights of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827).

Seller responsibilities

The Seller is obliged to provide the Customer with items that are free of defects. The Seller is liable to the Buyer if an item sold has a physical or legal defect (statutory warranty). This liability is provided for by the Civil Code (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2014, item 121 as amended), subject to the following provisions. With respect to Business Customers and Customers directly who concludes a contract with a Seller relating to their business activity, when it is evident from the content of this contract that it does not have a professional character, evidenced in particular by the subject of their business activity, made available based on the provisions on the Central Register and Information on Business, the Seller modifies its liability under the statutory warranty for physical defects of items, specified in the provisions of the Civil Code, in such a way that: The Seller excludes the rights under the statutory warranty to replace the goods with new ones, which are free from defects, to which the Buyer agrees.

Warranty

Warranty period for offered machines and devices is 12 months. The exception are Texi PREMIUM EX industrial sewing machines, which are covered by 24 months warranty. Texi household machines and selected models of Janome machines have 36-72 months warranty.

Purchase document, VAT invoice or receipt, is required. We provide warranty service at Strima's or user's headquarters, depending on the nature of the device being serviced. The warranty does not concern normal consumption of exploited parts or any damages resulting from abnormal use. As far as sewing machines are concerned, the warranty does not include mechanical damages of stitch plates, feed dogs, presser feet, bobbin cases, hooks and loopers.

Strima Czech s.r.o. and fulfill warranty towards customers located in belonged areas. Customers from other countries are offered with warranty in Strima Headquarters, at our service workshop (transport by customer).

Complaint procedure

Upon finding a defect, The User who wants to use his rights ought to:

notify the Seller or the Guarantor (Strima Sp. z oo) of the found defect and inform the Seller or the Guarantor of the sending methood (in person by the User, or by courier) to the following address: Strima Sp. with o.o, Swadzim, ul. Poznańska 54, 62-080 Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland. This information should be given to the Seller or the Guarantor over the phone at no: +48 61 8950 950 or by e-mail address: shop@strima.com.
For customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Guarantor is Strima Czech sro and products have to be delivered to the address Strima Czech sro Železná 5, 619 00 Brno-Horní Heršpice, Czech Republic, and all of the required nformation should be given by telephone under no hotline: +420 544 226 298, or e-mail address czech@strima.com.

• prior to shipment adequately protect the product during transport. Guarantor shall not be liable for any damage to the product or other damages incurred by the Buyer at the time, before the actual delivery of the product and the release of it to the Guarantor, in particular, shall not be liable for any loss or damage during transportation, if such defects are not resulting from causes inherent in the goods sold. Damage caused by insufficient protection are not included the product's warranty.

The product delivered to the Guarantor by non-consumer under the warranty, absolutely must be accompanied by:
• proof of purchase and warranty document (if delivered with the product)
• accurate description of the problem
• contact information (apart from the return address, it is necessary to give the name of the contact person and phone number)

Seller or Guarantor will not take into account complaints and will not perform any repairs that will not contain any attachments indicated above, with the exception of claims filed by consumers.

If the data or information given in the complaint should to be supplemented before examining the file, Seller or Guarantor asks the person lodging the complaint for supplementing it in the indicated range.

Seller or Guarantor accepts reclamations within 14 days from the date of its receipt.

In the event of warranty service Guarantor will remove the fault as soon as possible, no later than 21 days from the date of acceptance the product for repair. This period may be extended due to awaiting for the parts, about what the Purchaser will be informed.

Service Request Form

The possibilities of having recourse to an out-of-court complaint and redress mechanism

Client who is the customer can use the possibility of having recourse to an out-of-court complaint and redress mechanism.
Rules concerning access to these procedures are available in the premises and on the websites of the district (municipal) consumer advocates, social organizations to which statutory tasks includes consumer protection, the Provincial Inspectorates of Trade Inspection and on the websites of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

The customer who is a consumer has, among others, the following availability of the non-judicial means of dealing with complaints and redress:
• may apply to the permanent amicable consumer courts operating at the the Trade Inspection with a request for settlement of the dispute resulting from the sale agreement,
•may apply to the provincial inspector of Trade Inspection to initiate a mediation procedure on the amicable settlement of the dispute between him and the seller,
• can get free help on the settlement of the dispute between him and the seller, using the free assistance of district (municipal) consumer advocate or a social organization to which statutory tasks include consumer protection (eg. Consumer Federation, Association of Polish Consumers). Tips are provided under the Consumer Federation toll-free consumer hotline number 800 007 707, and by the Association of Polish Consumers at porady@dlakonsumentow.pl email.

Purchase without a risk

We use the most secure methods of protection and data transmission. Protocol SSL encrypts, validates and ensures the integrity of the message. After login in (connecting with secure WWW site) the user is informed about this. Domain "http" changes into "https" and in the bottom right side of the Internet Explorer browser bar appears padlock symbol. In Firefox and Opera browsers padlock symbol appears on the navigation bar. By clicking on the padlock symbol you can check the identity of the server www.strima.com , which authenticity is confirmed by certificate.
While card payment customer's data are sent directly to the operator, without the seller's interference. For MASTERCARD and VISA cards we use triple domain authorization system, which provides the highest level of security. This is the first rate world standard, which ensures SAFE SHOPPING on the internet.

Privacy policy

  • Administrator of personal data is STRIMA Sp. z o.o. based in Swadzim, at Poznańska 54 street, 62-080 Tarnowo Podgórne, registered in the National Court Registery (No. 0000064216), e-mail: shop@strima.com, phone no. 61 8950 950.
  • Personal data is processed in purpose of registration, submission and execution of orders placed trough www.strima.com as well as other obligations to the clients carried out by Strima Sp. z o.o.
  • The basis for the processing of personal data is the implementation of an order placed by strima.com and after its implementation - a legitimate interest of Strima Sp. z o.o. consisting in the possibility of demonstrating the proper performance of the contract. The basis for the processing of personal data are technical purposes related to the administration of the server and for the maintenance of website viewing statistics.
  • The company also processes data collected automatically - such as the IP address, domain name, browser type, software type. These data do not allow to identify data subject unequivocally, the acquired data is used for technical purposes related to the administration of the server and for the statistics of website viewing.
  • Processing of personal data of the Website Users for purpose other than indicated above, i.e.: marketing of services provided by the Company, newsletter or receiving commercial information will only take place after obtaining the User's consent and to extend indicated in the consent.
  • Categories of recipients of personal data: analytical tools - automatic marketing, postal operator, courier, payment provider, installment service provider, leasing provider, programmer.
  • Personal data will be processed for the period of time necessary to achieve purpose of processing specified in paragraph 3.
  • The person whose data is being processed has the right to access, correct, delete, limit processing, object to the processing and the right to transfer personal data, with reservation that the right to transfer personal data applies only to data processed in an automated manner.
  • The person whose personal data is processed has the right to file a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority.
  • Providing personal data is voluntary, however lack of personal data will result in the inability to complete the order. In case of request for an invoice, providing personal data results from the provisions of the mandatory law.

Cookies - what is it?

Cookie files are IT data, particularly text files, stored in User's devices. They allow the User to use the website. These files allow to recognize the user's device and properly display the website adjusted to his individual preferences. By default, data included in cookies can only be read by the server which created them. What is the destination of cookies?

How to delete cookies?
