16-12-2025 Christmas Eve Dinner 2025
Last Saturday, Strima held another Christmas Gala Dinner– a unique event that has become a permanent fixture in our company's calendar. This year, we met in the extraordinary interiors of the OT.WARTA restaurant, located in the historic building of the former municipal swimming pool in Poznań, built in 1924–1925. Thanks to the renovation, the building has regained its former glory and is once again one of the favorite places for the city's residents to relax and meet.
In the evening, all Strima employees, including those from the Łódź branch, as well as friends and associates of the company, gathered in an elegant, festive atmosphere. Dressed in their evening attire, we summarized the year that was coming to an end, wishing each other a peaceful Christmas and much success and satisfaction in the coming year 2026.
As every year, the atmosphere of the meeting was extremely warm and cordial. The OT.WARTA restaurant served traditional Polish Christmas Eve dishes, which delighted all guests with their taste and careful presentation. It was a time for conversation and jokes, but also for reflection. The president of Strimy summed up the past year and presented the directions for the company's further development in 2026 in an extraordinary toast:
My Dears,
We are gathered today around the Christmas table at a truly exceptional moment in the history of our company.
Christmas is a time for reflection — a moment when we ask ourselves what was difficult, what truly mattered, what we want to leave behind, and what we wish to carry forward.
Strima is now almost 35 years old. This is an age at which strength is no longer measured solely by the number of successes, but by the ability to endure the hardest trials. The past two years have been such a trial for us — a particularly difficult struggle for the future of the company and the security of our families.
We made mistakes; we experienced market turbulence, betrayals, and acts of disloyalty — including from those we trusted. Some members of the team left. It was an extremely difficult time. But today we can say one thing clearly: we have survived. We were, we are, and we will be.
Today, Strima is in good financial condition, enjoys an excellent international reputation, our new product lines are rapidly gaining the trust of customers, and — most importantly — we have people who stayed because they believe it is worth it.
Allow me a personal reflection. This year I turned 65. For many, this is the age at which thoughts turn to retirement. And yet, when I look at what is beginning anew at Strima, I still feel energy and motivation. I see potential. I see a future worth continuing to build — together with you.
During the Christmas time, we often speak of light. I believe this is a good word to describe what is being rekindled within us today. The crisis stripped away illusions, but it left what matters most: responsibility, competence, and a team that understands that the future is not built alone.
We are standing at the beginning of a new stage of growth — perhaps still calm, not always immediately visible, but real. A growth based not on miracles or sudden revolutions, but on honesty, integrity, trust, consistency, and mutual respect — values that have always been the foundation of this company.
I would like to express special thanks to those who did not give up and who stood by us even when times were hardest. Your loyalty, commitment, and professionalism are the true strength of Strima today.
I wish all of us that the coming year be a time of peace, stability, and wise development. May we return to our homes with a sense of purpose in what we do and with the conviction that we are part of a team capable of weathering a storm and emerging stronger.
I raise a toast to all of us — to loyalty, responsibility, and our shared journey.
To a peaceful Christmas and a good New Year 2026.
Na zdrowie!
During this year's Christmas Eve celebration, the traditional “Strimy Person of the Year” award was not presented. By decision of the President, the funds were allocated to help one of Strimy's employees fight illness. This beautiful gesture of solidarity and empathy was met with great appreciation and emotion among all participants of the meeting, giving the evening a particularly profound and moving dimension.
