The world’s largest trade fair for sewing machinery, CISMA, has just come to an end. This year, Shanghai hosted 1,600 exhibitors from all over the world, while the number of visitors reached nearly 100,000. The exhibition occupied 14 halls with a total area of 160,000 m², making this edition a record in terms of scale and attendance. The theme of this year’s event was: “Intelligent sewing empowers industry’s new quality development”.
Stitch Point – fast track to first class
This year Strima focused on cooperation with long-term and reliable partners: Battistella and Siliconi. The joint stand under the STITCH POINT brand proved to be a perfect choice. Both the products on display and the attractions we prepared aroused strong interest among visitors to this year’s CISMA.
Machines of the future – TEXI FUTURE series
There is hardly a better place to present the new generation of sewing machines than the Shanghai fair. The machines from the new TEXI FUTURE series, shown for the first time at CISMA, attracted enormous interest. The same applied to the TEXI CWS 500, the only machine in the world capable of automatically sewing heating wires into floor mats. Thanks to the cooperation with Battistella and Siliconi, the STITCH POINT stand offered a diverse range of solutions. In addition to sewing machines, visitors could see new environmentally friendly Siliconi sprays and the best Italian ironing equipment from Battistella.
Ironing Championships and the best ice cream in Shanghai
Everyone who visited our stand during CISMA could take part in the CISMA 2025 IRONING CHAMPIONSHIPS and win one of three steam generators with iron from Battistella. The best contestant managed to iron a shirt in a record time of 104 seconds. Visitors seeking a moment of relaxation could also enjoy delicious Carpigiani ice cream and the finest Italian coffee. Over the three exhibition days, we served 2,600 portions of ice cream, with the active support of the President of Strima himself. We are proud that our STITCH POINT stand was also visited by the President of CSMA, Mr. Yang Xiaojing.
"Shanghai by Night”
The final highlight was the “Shanghai by Night” dinner – a luxury yacht cruise on the Huangpu River with 58 guests. This unique evening, combined with cocktail shows and live music, provided the perfect setting for discussions about the future of the industry, directions for business development, and an enjoyable celebration to conclude the fair.
After the fair, we return to work full of enthusiasm and optimism for the future. CISMA has once again proven that cooperation is the key to success. Thank you!
