10-06-2025 Strima Team-Building 2025 – A Strong Team is the Foundation!
The past year at Strima has been a time of dynamic growth - many new faces joined our team. The expansion of the crew created a perfect opportunity to get to know each other better - not only at work, but outside the office too. That’s why we organized a proper company integration event. Joining us were colleagues from our Łódź branch and team members from all departments: domestic and export sales, purchasing, accounting, marketing, service - and of course, the management. With such a mix, good energy was guaranteed. Because when teamwork meets integration, company results follow naturally.
Soup and... GPS to Start
On Friday after work, we headed to the Regatta Hotel by Lake Kierskie. We kicked things off with a delicious, warming soup to recharge our batteries. We needed the energy - an adventure was about to begin that would challenge our minds, legs, and competitive spirit: the Geozbieracze outdoor game.
Geozbieracze - A Thrilling Game (with GPS)
Divided into teams of four or five, we set off into nature - through greenery, meadows, brush, and hidden clues. Though it had rained earlier, the sun came out just in time for the start - like it was meant to be. Geozbieracze is a team version of geocaching - the popular global treasure-hunting game. Equipped with GPS devices and clue cards, we searched for cleverly hidden caches. The coordinates only gave us distance and direction - the rest we had to figure out on our own.
A hint like “12 steps from the old oak” was enough to spark group deduction. Solving some puzzles took more than sharp eyes - it required collaboration. Logic, terrain navigation, and lots of laughter were in full swing. Sometimes the cache was a well-hidden box, sometimes a vial near a tree trunk - and sometimes it was disguised as a rubber bird perched quietly on a branch. There was plenty to discover!
A Game That Brings People Together
The excitement was real - running through the forest with a GPS, solving puzzles, and shouting with joy at each discovery brought tons of fun and satisfaction. Many of the caches required teamwork and creative thinking, so everyone had a chance to shine. And in the process, we got to know our colleagues from other departments - like the buyer from purchasing or a tech from the service team.
An Evening at the Table
Once all teams completed their courses, we gathered back at Hotel Regatta - this time for a delicious dinner. It was the perfect moment for interdepartmental conversations, casual jokes, game recaps, and just enjoying each other's company - without Excel sheets, orders, or deadlines.
We returned to work full of energy, inspiration, and shared memories. One thing is certain - we’re already looking forward to the next integration!
