3 000 calendars to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Strima.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Strima company, we have prepared unique, jubilee calendars. The calendar includes photos taken by Strima CEO Paweł Bronski during his countless Asian journeys.

We have sent this calendar to our friends and best customers with the latter and best wishes. I the letter Mr. Broński wrote a little about how he united his career path with the passion of photography.

"Life is a JOURNEY, not a destination.
For 30 years, my professional journey has been called STRIMA. I love my job. People, thousands of meetings, experiences and emotions, hundreds of hotels, 2 million kilometers traveled and millions of anonymous faces on the way.
Faces that open up your imagination. Faces worth remembering.
That’s why I take photos.

I “saved” thousands of faces in pictures. I remember all the circumstances that accompanied pressing of the shutter button. Originally, I wanted to tell you about each picture in this calendar. But maybe it would be better if the pictures would spark your imagination.

However, I will tell you two short stories.

In 2008, a man with a cigar lived with his wife on a boat under a bridge in the Vietnamese city of Hoi An. Look at his pride and peace. Who he was before? Perhaps he fought in the Vietnamese-American War and was on the side of the winners. But an unfair and blind fate led him to life under the bridge. Under the bridge there is poverty, boredom and sadness, on the bridge there is joy, tourists, newlyweds and highlife.

In 2011, in a small harbor on the island of Gili Trawangan in Indonesia, on a pile of bags, a beautiful girl was waiting for her dad. While taking this photo I didn’t know anything about her. I thought she was traveling with her father. Recently, I was able to find them via Instagram. It turned out that at that time, her father was working in this harbor as a porter and caretaker. When he appeared, they had breakfast. Watching them having their meal was touching – There was not a lot of food, but they shared it with reverence. They radiated love and mutual trust. Today the girl lives with her mother on the island of Lombok, and her father went to Borneo in search of a job.
More about the heroes of my photos you can learn on my personal Instagram profile @ bpenroute.
2021 is the 30th year of my STRIMA JOURNEY. If you are reading this, you are already traveling with me. Thanks for your trust. Stay with me, because in journey, all that matter is good company."
