15-04-2020 With Strima the virus has no chance

In Strima, we bravely face the current situation and COVID-19. We have provided protective masks for company employees, and we add DIY sets for masks sewing to orders at clients' request. We donated 25 sewing machines to a charity collection for Polish dressmakers sewing protective masks for hospitals. To support the Greater Poland Medical Chamber, we made cutting out fabric for sewing 12,000 protective masks.
In the current threat situation associated with COVID-19, we are not idle - the contrary. We have partially transformed our company into a mask production plant. Using our sewing equipment we made 4,000 protective masks quickly and efficiently.
We gave masks to our employees, as well as friends and clients. We understand the importance of taking care of security now. We also add kits for DIY 10 masks to all ordered sewing machines for free. For other products, you can also get free kits. Just add the word "mask" in the order notes.
Recently, in this difficult time, we have shown support to the University of Arts in Poznań by organizing the cutting of fabric needed for sewing masks by a Poznań university. Twice we supported the donation fundraising for Polish tailors to enable them to sew masks for medical services.
In recent days, we have also been able to support the Greater Poland Medical Chamber, which, together with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations and the action koronazglowy.pl, sews masks and protective materials for healthcare professionals to provide help to hospitals in Poland. In two days we made a pattern from 750 meters of material on an industrial automatic cutter TAKATORI. The ergonomic pattern significantly accelerated the work on the production of protective masks and allowed the production of 12,000 pieces. Previously, volunteers cut the fabric by hand, which took them much longer. We also donated the TEXI ZORRO 100 circular knife to the organization, which significantly facilitated the work of volunteers when cutting fabrics.

We are very happy that we could support the initiative which is so much needed nowadays.
