On the occasion of Women's Day, together with Leroy Merlin Polska, we organized in Swadzim a workshop on sewing eco-bags. Step by step we explained how to make the DIY bag on a sewing machine. For many people, it was a chance for sewing the first time in their lives.

On the occasion of Women's Day, together with Leroy Merlin Poland, we organized in Swadzim a workshop on sewing eco-bags for shopping for all women. Our venture met with fine interest, and although it was addressed to women, men also decided to try a hand in sewing. In our workshop, some were sewing for the first time in their lives. For bag sewing, we used Texi household sewing machines: the multi-functional Texi Ballerina model, which is provided with 200 stitching programs and Texi Joy 48, with the option of selecting and adjusting the width of 48 stitches. We explained the participants the bag-making steps: from material patterns cutting and machine operation, after selecting the stitches and the right order of stitching elements together. Each person participating in the workshop took home the bag they sew.
