19-04-2018 The "Emerald Button" contest has been settled

On April 14, 2018 in the Technical Schools - Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Leszno, the 1st National Competition for Young Designers and Tailors "Emerald Button" was held and STRIMA was its Creative Patron.
The competition was held in two categories: casual and avant-garde, and the theme of the competition was "Opposites attract". Students from 7 schools from all over Poland took part in it, they presented 46 projects (creations).
Strima as the Creative Patron of the competition prepared for the winners three awards in the form of training courses to choose: AUDACES computer-aided design system or Embroidery School - run on TEXI IRIS 10 and TEXI 1501 TS PREMIUM machines. Each of these trainings is a professional, 3-day training, confirmed by a certificate.
Among other awards were: a monthly internship with the designer Magda Hasiak, an illustration course in the beauty industry at the Fashion School in Poznań and a cash voucher from Pohltex company.
The jury included the ladies:
- Magda Hasiak - a well-known fashion designer
- Ewa Bednarska - a young fashion designer
- Sylwia Lesinska - representative of Strima company
- Renata Perek - headmaster of the school - host of the event
The designs were very various, interesting and surprising. The jury took into account the compliance with the theme, aesthetics, colors, originality and the overall effect.

in the casual category:
1st place: Agnieszka Marynowska „Colorful Dizziness” - STRIMA training award
2nd place: Adrian Białk "Transparent Human" - STRIMA training award
3rd place: Alicja Mąka „Color in Black”
in the avant-garde category:
1st place: Katarzyna Baryła „Ugly Duckling”
2nd place: Patrycja Kamińska „Chessboard” - STRIMA training award
3rd place: Jakub Sobański "Monochrome Butterfly"
In addition, the jury distinguished two designers: Emilia Żak for "Spring Vibes" and Daria Korkosz for „Silvery Queen Squares”.
