26-05-2014 TEXI in the finale! Project Runway winner revealed

For weeks we were able to watch the Project Runway contestants creating runway fashions on TEXI machines until the ultimate designer was chosen during grand finale.

Jakub "Jacob" Bartnik took home the season 1 crown in Sunday's finale of the TVN fashion-design completion. He has defeated thus twelve other very talented participants, who had competed for the title. In the finale were: Kuba Bartnik, Liliana Pryma and Maciek Sieradzky. Anthony Vaccarello made a special guest appearance. All of the fine designs created during Project Runway were made on TEXI sewing machines. Multifunctional Ballerina, Tutu and overlock Pierrot and superdynamic industrial lockstitch machines Texi Silence – those are the models that were used for the show.

“Project Runway” is an American reality television series which premiered in 2004. All 12 seasons aired were very popular among viewers and in the end become a huge factor in designer careers in fashion. The show is broadcast in 24 countries. More than 1,6 million viewers had tuned in to watch the show every Sunday.

TEXI is the first sewing brand in Poland that was chosen to be part of the biggest fashion-orientated reality show on television. In this edition a support of Strima and Texi demonstrated the role that sewing technology can play in the creative arts and fashion.
