31-03-2014 Strima Czech at Prague Patchwork Meeting 2014

On 4 - 6 April 2014 in Prague (Czech Republic), 8th edition of the International Patchwork Meeting was held. Traditionally Strima Czech s.r.o. is a strategic partner and co-organizer of this event.
As a general distributor of JANOME machines in Czech Republic and Slovakia showed a full range of the latest products of our Japanese partner. Among them computer controlled machines from QC series, ideal for sewing patchwork and quilting JANOME MC 8200QC and JANOME MC 8900QCP and the easiest to use computerized machine JANOME DC7100. The highlight of this year's edition of the Prague Meeting was certainly the presentation of the best machine in the world JANOME MC 15000 HORIZON, with which impossible does not exist.
All guests of Strima stand was able to test multifunctional sewing machines series TEXI Ballet Line and TEXI industrial machines - ideal for working in a tailor's atelier. Its Czech premiere had TEXI SMART S + B ironing table - the first table with artificial intelligence.
At the Prague Patchwork Meeting international competitions was not missed. Topics of this year's edition are "Mother Nature" and "Applications". Winners received JANOME and TEXI sewing machines funded by Strima Czech.
For the annual workshops Strima Czech provided 16 computer controlled JANOME sewing machines, that visitors was able to buy at very attractive prices.
On these machines, during the workshops, their skills presented world-famous authorities in the field of patchwork and quilting Britta Ankenbaue, Juliette Eckel, Winnie Egefjord and Gabriele Schultz-Herzberger.
The event was accompanied by an exhibition of patchworks and quiltings from all over the world, including Great Britain, Romania, Germany and Denmark. Their work also presented Czech artists who, besides works made with traditional patchwork techniques, prepared original artworks that perfectly combined styles.
