18-06-2012 Pop your collar – workshops with Martyna Zeglen-Szewczynska

On June 16th in Strima, the most fashionable accessories of the season spring/summer 2012 were sewn – collars Pop your collar. Designer Martyna Zeglen-Szewczynska led exciting workshops, where in addition to original collars, colorful brooches were sewn.

During workshops participants creates patterns and got acquainted with the method of forms tranfsering and materials cutting. With the use of ironing equipment, sewing, felting and embroidery machines they sewn and originally decorated their collars. An additional attraction of workshops were bow tie brooches sewing.
During workshops collar changed its nature, gave us a wink and became naughty. Button-type glamour, retro-style embroideries and felt applications gave him character. Collar-individualist which likes improvisations were created.
