03-04-2012 Strima at the gala of the Fashion for sewing contest

Katowice School of Technology with the support of Strima organized a Fashion for sewing contest about advertising clothing. The gala, combined with a fashion show and exhibition, was held on March 30th 2012 in Hotel Angelo in Katowice.

Participants of the contest were students from the second year of design, under the leadership of prof. Sylwia Romecka (Fashion Design faculty). Strima funded Janome FM725 felting machine and supplied accessories and parts for machines that have been used to design the competition works.

The jury composed of:
- prof. Andrzej Grzybowski - Rector of the WST
- dr. Monika Boguslawska Baczek - assistant professor of Textile Engineering faculty
- Andrzej Andrysiak - head of Strima Atelier in Lodz
- Joanna Szczotka - head of Strima’s sales and logistics - Silesia region

Laureates were: Karolina Osajda, Katarzyna Kaluza and Marcjanna Rozanska. Special awards were also given to Karolina Muc and Klaudia Dziedzic.
