13-02-2012 Strima sewing workshops - Airbag

On Saturday, February 11th, in Strima headquarters, sewing enthusiasts participated in workshops conducted by the designer Ela Cios. In the creative atmosphere they created an unique Airbags.

Participants of the workshop approached the task very ambitiously. Having mainly the first contact with the machines they sewn original bags. Using plotted pattern, they got acquainted with the method of forms tranfsering and materials cutting and then, with the use of Texi ironing devices, Janome multifunctional sewing machines and overlocks they sewn their own bags. An additional attraction of the workshop was a short course on cloth label designing, thanks to which every bag has gained its individual character. Intimate workshops were also an ideal opportunity to talk about the world of fashion.
We believe that the passion of sewing awaken on Saturday, will be an impuls to further creative explorations.
