Can sewing machine become an object of desire? You have proved that you YES. Works sent to "Overlock for the video" contest, showed that Texi Quatro is not only the most wanted machine in Europe, but also that sewing enthusiasts are not afraid of any challenges.

This contest was exceptional from the very beginning. Firstly: it was the most difficult from all Strima contests. This one required from participants not only knowledge of the art of sewing, but also a great imagination and script, directing, operating and acting skills. Secondly: exceptional was the award - professional, modern and energy-saving overlock machine. Thirdly and most importantly, exceptional films were submitted. We are very pleased of their number and level of artistry. Dozens of works from Poland, Germany and French made the jury's deliberations exceptional. Your creative imagination and diversity of the submitted films meant that we were unable to choose winners in one meeting. We had select finalist and awarded after 3 days full of exciting discussions and deliberations. Many of your works deserved special distinction. That is why in addition to Grand Prix, we decided to fund three additional awards - Texi Classic steam stations. For the prize pool we have also included personally engraved pens from limited edition, produced especially for the 20th anniversary of Strima. All participants of the contest will receive this gift. We hope that you it will remind you of great fun and passion of creating exceptional works.
We have received comedies, thrillers, dramas, documents, animations, and even experimental films. We have receive works shot by young and mature sewing enthusiasts. Videos created by individual artists, groups and even by schools. Each one was different, and each gave us much joy.
The biggest impression on us make "Count Thread" by Maciej Stasiak. Black and white film shot in the style of prewar production associate us irresistibly with the cult polish series "In the old cinema". The history of Count, who in his fabulous atelier is looking for a remedy for frayed materials, convinced us by perfection of realization and original, funny idea. Professional make-up characters, used props and very good acting made that movie won Grand Prix - Texi Quatro 24 overlock machine.

Votes of jurors have decided to grant Ist Honour Award "What will you do ... to have it" by Katarzyna Swit. Work caught our attention by courageous idea presented in a humorous way. History of Strima robbery in order to gain needed overlock to sew wedding dress gave us a lot of emotions. We congratulate Mrs. Katarzyna and reward her with Ist Honour Award and Texi Classic steam station.

No less surprised for us was "Girl with patterns" by Katarzyna Guzgan. Melodic, rhythmic and catchy song about an ambitious young girl and her love for sewing charmed jury and won for the author IInd Honour Award and Texi Classic steam station.

Deserved IIIrd Honour Award and last Texi Classic steam station went to Christa Leste-Lasserre, author of the movie "Jumping Through Hoops for the Texi Quatro". Warm and multi-threaded story of young gymnasts and their dreams enchanted us by great story and professional action conducting.
