26-01-2011 Strima Patchwork Workshops – invitation

Patchwork is an artistric fabric which we create by sewing together scraps of materials. Sewing beautiful, unusual patchworks is a passion of thousands amateurs and professionals around the world. In early February we will approach you this art and will invite you to creative fun.

Strima Patchwork Workshops will be held on 01-10.02.2011 February, daily form 12 a.m. up to 8 p.m. in Stary Browar in Poznan (Poland). Emotions and energy will be theme of the workshops. In patchwork we charm magic moments of our lives. Together with you we want to create beautiful designs with all the emotions and all the energy with which you will come to us.

Strima Patchwork Workshops is the first in Poland, such big event devoted to this art form. From received applications we selected 16 persons who will fight for JANOME MEMORY CRAFT 6600 PROFESSIONAL sewing machines - perfect for patchwork and quilting. Very fast (1000 s.p.m.), fully automatic (thread cutter, needle positioning, bartacking), 404 stitches plus two lettering fonts. Very big working space - distance from needle to machine arm 23 cm - for sewing large elements.
Workshops will be lead by Malgorzata 'Shayneen' Nowak.

Simultaneously with main event Open Patchwork Workshops will take place - here everyone is invited. We will have at your disposal three stands where you will learn everything about patchwork and you will be able to try your strength in this craft. It is enough to visit Stary Browar in Poznan in days 01-10 February.
