27-10-2009 How Poland sews? - more awards!

In August 2009 in the “burda” magazine and at www.strima.com we have published a poll with competition “How Poland sews?”. Replies were sent by 436 competitors. We have already thanked everyone and sent HEXAGON textile tape measures.

Your valuable feedback about machines that accompany you in sewing and descriptions of dreams are very useful and certainly we will use them for the benefit of our customers. Once again, thank you very much.

Only the last and the most pleasant information remained. When announcing the poll we suggested three JANOME 2041S machines as a award for the authors of the most beautiful dreams associated with sewing. The dreams were different: airy, modest, colorful, witty, realistic, sometimes very material. To read them all was an interesting occupation, showing the state of creative spirit of Poles. After the reading we have decided to extend the award pool.

Statutory awards, machines JANOME 2041S go to:
Ms. Maria Starczewska from Siedlce - for a dream about dressing a home.
Ms. Daria Kaminska from Czestochowa - for a sense of humor and economical management of the word.
Mrs. Elizabeth Szarmach from Szczecin - for childhood similar to the childhood of one of the jurors.

However it's not the end…
A special award - JANOME FM725 - machine not for sewing, awarded the Chairman of Strima Sp. z o.o. Pawel Bronski, with full acceptance of the jury. It goes to Ms. Iwona Rzepka from Tarnowo Podgorne. We hope that this award will help laureate to paint with the use of felting technique.

There were many other beautiful dreams. The jury decided to choose one as a symbol of interest of all those who have dedicated to complete our poll. Ms. Marzena Szczecina from Walcz described her friendship with Marysia and the idea of creating and presenting the spring-summer collection 2010. If it will be established and the authors in accordance with the dreams will decide to a mini fashion show in Walcz, Strima with a great pleasure will become a sponsor of this show, by supporting it the amount of 3.000 PLN.
