13-10-2007 Grazka’s "Extra design" – our award

13 October 2007, in the Lodz Strima branch, Magda Mandla – 3rd year student of Arts Academy in Lodz received from us an award for work titled "Chopin’s coat". The award was multifunctional sewing machine JANOME 6019QC, worth 1 399 PLN. In the rewarded design we paid attention to care of details, emphasizing femininity and elegance. Construction, embroideries, applications and trim, used in the work, created unique effect causing, that anybody can pass beside unaffected.

The “Extra design” was a contest organized by company Grazka. The keynote of the contest was the most original usage of accessories in created outfit.

In the announced in March contest took part 304 authors, reporting 683 designs. Works were assessed by a jury with: Ewa Minge (jury’s chair), Jagoda Komorowska, Monika Onoszko and Izabella Adamczewska.

Contest’s laureates were:
Malgorzata Kaczmarska from Kielce for design „Na Nice” - I place and award of 5 000 PLN, founded by the organizer, company Grazka
Malgorzata Kurek from Warsaw for design „Congruentia” - II place and award of 3 000 PLN, founded by the organizer, company Grazka
Marta Mandla from Krakow - III place and award of 2 000 PLN, founded by the organizer, company Grazka.
Three equivalent awards went to: Dabrowka Szopa, Bogna Hamryszczak and Marta Szarek.
