07-04-2007 Contest www.strima.com settled

At the beginning, when in Burda magazine and on www.strima.com web site information about the contest appeared, days were going by and we thought: missed idea. Postman brought every day a lot of packages, but few of them had a postscript "www.strima.com contest". However, every next day there were more and more works coming and our scepticism was receding. And finally on the day of the contest commission debate, 6 of April, came the time of a great joy. We thank all who fought for the winner title.

Rules of the contest are to sew, embroider, glue or make in another free technique from fabric, knitwear, foil, leather, string, itd. the password: "www.strima.com" - regulations.

Fairest choice from among sent works, presenting aligned, high level and unusual originality, has turned out for the commission genuine challenge. Members of the commission, coming our for brakes, said: “Catastrophe. We have just 13 awards and much more works worth to be awarded”. Every juror awarded points independently and secretly. Calculation of voices proceeded in huge emotions, with flush on faces.

We announce that winner of the contest is Anita Drajer for work No. 70, with a motif of coral reef, who receives JANOME 744D overlock machine. Second place took Joanna Staniczek, for work No. 69, who receives BATTISTELLA VAPORBABY INOX steam generator with an iron. Third place took Izabela Skrzypiec for work No. 13, who receives BATTISTELLA TECNOSTIR MAXI CHROM ironing table.
