"Direction e-business" conference taking place in Warsaw, organized by Euro Info Centre, was the crown of the contest "The Best e-Company". The European Commission "Go-Digital" programme, guidelines of the goverment policy concerning e-business in Poland, advantages and dangers resulting from the act of the electronic signature were presented.

The winner of the contest was e-petrol.pl Ltd company; Robod SA and e-zdrowie.com SA were honoured. The main criteria of the assessment was the use of the Internet as the instrument in business. Because of formal reasons (over 25% of the foreign capital) www.strima.com couldn't take part in the contest. We regret but we are pleased that more and more well prepared entrepreneurs board the e-commerce rocket .
