05-09-2006 The 1st Ironing Championship of Poland - Strima Open
58 women and 27 men from 56 Polish and foreign companies, together with fans competed for splendor and prestige of the International Ironing Master of Poland title and very precious prizes. Representatives from Moldova, Poland and Ukraine. Interest of press, radio and TV. Masters of ironing gave the show with a lot of steam and emotions.
Competitors had at their disposal the best irons, steam generators and ironing tables Battistella and Primula brands. Lady’s blouses, pants and jackets were ironed. Jury assessed time, quality and style of ironing. Tough criterion of judging and short time extracted contestants’ mistakes however, generated superb rhythm and beauty motion. Judging the style, delighted jury raised sometimes all point boards together, demonstrating admiration for contestants. The best style in elimination showed Mr. Andrzej Najder from POL-JACK FASHION company and Mr. Sergiu Gorea from IRIS POLSKA Sp. z o.o. company. The fastest ironer in elimination was Mrs. Malgorzta Kostka from EURAS Sp. z o.o. company – 6min. 25,8sec. Unfortunately, shortest time tactic extracted quality mistakes, which eliminated her out of the 5-person final. She took 6th place. Elimination was won by Mrs. Malgorzata Krupka from BOGTER Company. Next to her in the final competition run, according to positions taken in elimination were Mr. Andrzej Najder POL-JACK FASHION, Sergiu Gorea IRIS POLSKA, Grazyna Apanowicz PARYS SA and Przemyslaw Stempin BOJOWNIK, who finally won after 20 minutes fierce duel with other superb rivals. The master was reported by Mr. Michal Kotkowiak. Second place took Mrs. Malgorzata Kurpka reported by Mr. Bogdan Marchwiak, third place took Mrs. Grazyna Apanowicz, reported by Mrs. Jadwiga Dziadkowska. Mrs. Apanowicz was additionally rewarded with a crystal star by jury chairwoman Mrs. Prof. Barbara Hanuszkiewicz. Forth place took Mr. Sergiu Gorea from Moldova, living in Poland for 4 years, introduced by Mr. Alexandru Crismari. Favorite of most of fans was Mr. Andrzej Najder, fifth finalist, introduced by Jacek Peczek.

The Ironing Champion “ironed” for himself and a companion 2 weeks holidays in Crete (all inclusive hotel) and for company BOJOWNIK professional ironing table PRIMULA FLEX 1242.
The Vice Champion gained for herself ironing set Vaprobaby Inox and for company BOGTER professional ironing table BATTISTELLA URANO BLOWING.
The 2nd Vice Champion gained for herself ironing set Vaporbaby Inox and for company PARYS ironing table Battistella T220P Chrom.
